Migrant and Bilingual Education Programs
All children in Washington State have the right to a public education, grades kindergarten to 12, up through age 21. Students may qualify for additional support through the Migrant or Bilingual Education Programs if: A language other than English is spoken at home. The family has recently moved for agriculture or fishing work.

Free Citizenship Application Assistance on Citizenship Day

CITIZENSHIP DAY Saturday, April 25, 2015
Citizenship Day is a day-long workshop where volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals, and interpreters come together to offer assistance with citizenship applications. All lawful permanent residents ("green card" holders) interested in applying for U.S. citizenship are welcome to participate. The assistance extended to the public on Citizenship Day is FREE. Resources for preparing for the naturalization interview will be provided as well.
Our next Citizenship Day will be held at four sites across Washington on April 25, 2015. All sites will be open from 10 AM to 3 PM. Appointments are not required, but we recommend arriving early in case of long lines. And plan for long wait times--bring a snack!

St. Patrick Catholic Parish - Pasco will host a Hispanic Community Forum (in Spanish) on Tuesday, April 28, from 6pm-9pm. This forum will allow Spanish speaking people in the Pasco community to express their feelings and concerns to members of Washington State’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs, members the Pasco City Council, and a Conciliation Specialist from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Community Relations Service.
