15th annual Día de los Muertos Celebration!
We would like to invite you to our 2019 - 15th annual Día de los Muertos Celebration!
This year our theme is Perseverance - Power in Action: Voice! Vote! Venceremos! Perseverance is defined as “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success”. We can make a difference and change by organizing our communities to get out the vote, registering to vote and to be counted in the 2020 census. This administration incited fear in our communities, scaring them away from the census, which will take away important funding from programs that help those in need.
El Vez will be this year's MC! We will also have performances by Folklore Tonatzin, Duo Finelli, Ceatl Tonalli, Chief Sealth Int'l High School and a Selena impersonator. Schedule and more info to follow...
We will also have some delicious (and free!) chicken mole to offer!

Este año nuestro tema es Perseverancia - Poder en Acción: ¡Voz! ¡Vota! ¡Venceremos! La perseverancia se define como "persistencia en hacer algo a pesar de la dificultad o retraso en lograr el éxito". Podemos marcar la diferencia y el cambio organizando nuestras comunidades para salir a votar, registrándonos para votar y para ser contados en el censo de 2020. Esta administración incitó miedo en nuestras comunidades, ahuyentándolas del censo, lo que quitará fondos importantes de programas que ayudan a los necesitados.
¡El Vez será el presentardor de este año! También tendremos actos de Folklore Tonatzin, Duo Finelli, Ceatl Tonalli, Chief Sealth Int'l High School y un acto de imitación de Selena! Horario y más información a seguir...
