Workshop Will GROW Your Job Skills

After May 3 You’ll Tackle Goals Like Never Before

Learn how to bring out the best in yourself and others using the G.R.O.W. process. This is a simple and memorable way to help yourself and others accomplish important goals in almost any situation.

Upon completion of this workshop you should be able to:

·         Design agreements that build commitment and action

·         Clearly identify actionable goals

·         Identify the various resources, barriers, and viewpoints in a situation

·         Thoroughly explore the different options at hand

·         Choose the best path of action

This course is highly interactive and will allow participants to clarify their own goals and how to attain them while in class. The workshop will be led by John Utter, co-owner of Thrive at Work LLC, a consulting, coaching, and training company that focuses on helping organizations increase capacity and wellbeing.

Participation is free, but registration is required for this limited-seating session. The workshop will be held at the Labor and Industries building in Tumwater May 3, with check in beginning at 8:30 and the workshop starting promptly at 9 a.m., ending at 11 a.m. Register here today.

Can I participate on state time? Yes! The state Office of Financial Management, which oversees business resource groups like LLN, says employee participation in BRGs is work-related and a leadership priority. Participation during your work hours requires approval from your supervisor or agency, however, agencies are expected work with employees who are interested in participating.
