APPLY NOW! NCR Grant Application Now Open

The application portal for Nonprofit Community Recovery (NCR) grants is NOW OPEN.

Last week, we let you know these grants were coming. With so many nonprofits struggling financially and the timeline for this grant being very condensed, we will be sending several notices out to be sure qualified organizations hear about the opportunity. If you don’t qualify, we apologize for the extra mail, but we encourage you to forward this information along to organizations in your community that might be a match. 

These grants, administered by ArtsFund and the WA Dept. of Commerce, range from $2,500-$25,000, and will cover COVID-19 pandemic hardship expenses incurred between 3/1/20 and 6/30/21. 

Qualifying organizations must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Have 501(c)(3) status, or fiscal sponsorship by a 501(c)(3), with appropriate documentation since FY2019
2. Have a 2019 annual operating budget greater than $25,000
3. Operate in one or more of the following four focus areas:

  • Arts, culture, science, and heritage organizations

  • Veterans Organizations (newly added)

  • Neighborhood Associations (updated)

  • Sports and Recreation Organizations

Organizations led by and/or serving under-resourced communities, culturally diverse populations, and underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
