Recruitment information for the Governor’s Leadership Academy, Class of 2020. For those of you who may be new (or for those of you who need a reminder), the GLA is the Governor’s Office summer internship program for college students. Last year, it expanded to include interns housed at OFM, and this year promises even more opportunities.
The GLA is a 10-week program. Interns are placed with different departments within the Governor’s Office and OFM. They work four days per week, seven hours per day, and they earn $15 per hour. Interns must be enrolled college students and can start on June 8 or June 22, depending on whether they are on quarters or semesters at their schools. Students graduating in May or June 2020 are not eligible.
This year, we will be looking to hire interns in the following departments:

International Relations and Protocol
Policy (graduate or law student)
Washington DC Office
OFM
Accounting
Budget (to begin in September)
Director’s Office

Technology Services and Facilities Planning
