LLN Updates
Join the hundreds who have shared their perspective in LLN's workplace survey
We have received a strong response to our workplace study! LLN recently launched its first survey on workplace experiences of Latino/Hispanic state employees. The information we gather will help us get a clearer picture of inclusion and professional development in state government and build data that will allow us to create new opportunities for people of color.
Thank you to the hundreds of state workers who have responded to our survey request. To ensure your voice is heard, take the survey before December 24: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LLN2020.
We're gathering in January to celebrate the new year and cultural traditions
Save the date: Thursday, January 7, noon to 1 p.m.
In Brazil they mark New Year’s Day by throwing white flowers into the ocean, in Greece some leave onions --a symbol of rebirth-- hanging on their doors to inspire growth throughout the new year. What’s your favorite way to ensure prosperity and health in 2021?
The Latino Leadership Network (LLN) will hold a special virtual gathering that will showcase our individual and cultural traditions. Join us to share the different ways your family marks the new year, how the tradition was started, and your perspective on this new decade ahead. Do you have a story about your favorite New Year’s Eve? Let’s hear it!
All members, friends and allies are welcome to attend. Coordinated by LLN's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, this gathering will help LLN begin to document and share the rich culture embedded in Washington State’s workforce.
