The Women’s Commission is hosting an envent this Wednesday (5/5) from 4:00pm to 5:00pm via Zoom – “No Stolen Sisters”, a discussion for the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. We are proud to be hosting three incredible Indigenous women leaders: Rep. Debra Lekanoff (40th District); Patricia Whitefoot, President of the National Indian Education Association; and Abigail Echo-Hawk, Chief Research Officer at Seattle Indian Health Board and Director of the Urban Indian Health Institute.
